Microsoft IT Site Delete Capture 1.0
If you ever have end users or end-losers as I have sometimes referred to them as in fits of anger that have the ability to delete sites and actually do so then this utility is for you. The utility works by taking the site(s) that are deleted using the event model and captures them by backing them up to disk so that they can be restored.
